Welcome to the Sultanate of Oman’s official mobile Donations App for Charitable Organizations.

Given the significant rise in mobile donations in recent years, fostering a culture of giving within the Omani community via the Donations App on smartphones represents a natural progression.

The app streamlines the donation process for Omani citizens and residents, enabling contributions with a simple click from any location and at any time.

Developed by the Information Technology Authority (ITA), the official mobile Donations App was conceptualized to further the charitable endeavors supported by the Ministry of Social Development.

In February 2009, ITA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, unveiled the official online Donations Portal for Charitable Organizations. The subsequent launch of the Donations App leveraged existing technology to provide a more accessible platform for philanthropic activities.

With a focus on championing altruistic causes in the Sultanate of Oman, this app serves as an electronic conduit for seamless donation transactions to support charitable organizations endorsed by the Ministry of Social Development.

By bridging the gap between donors and beneficiaries, this digital platform facilitates charitable contributions through the ePayment Gateway managed by ITA, thereby removing logistical barriers of time and distance often associated with traditional giving methods.

Currently, the Donations App facilitates donations solely through credit cards issued in Oman and does not support payments via other cards.
